We will always communicate with you if your child is not feeling well.

Each child is required by State regulation to have on file, a health statement which includes a record of up to date immunizations and the signature of the child’s source of medical care.  Healthcare information must be complete prior to the child’s enrollment.

Every child must have a physical examination within the last year and/or prior to admission.  A physician or public heath nurse may do the physical.

Release of a Child

Emergency

We are open at 6:00 AM. If your child will be late or will not be attending, please notify us.  Keeping us notified is important because it delays meals and activities when we are waiting for a child to arrive.  Some children may experience difficulty separating from their parents, I know how hard it is to leave an upset child however, a child will normally calm down within minutes after his/her parent has left.  The quicker you leave the faster your child will adjust.

Release of a Child:

I will only release your child to parents, legal guardians or a person authorized on the proper form filled out by a parent or legal guardian.  This form will be required at registration and it is the parent’s responsibility to keep it updated.

You must give advance notice when someone, other than the person(s) authorized is coming to pick up your child.  If notification of change for the day is not received by me – your child will not be released.

Emergency:

In the event of a medical emergency, fire, natural disaster, I will take immediate steps to ensure your child’s safety and will contact you as soon as possible.
